About CLB Levels
Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) are the national standards for describing and measuring English language proficiency in Canada
CLB Scale
CLB levels range from 1 (basic) to 12 (advanced). Most immigration programs require CLB 7+ for skilled workers.
Express Entry
Your CLB levels directly impact your CRS score. Higher CLB levels mean more points for language proficiency.
Test Conversion
Different language tests use different scoring systems. This tool converts them all to the standard CLB format.
